Don Cheadle to return as War Machine in The Avengers 2
With Marvel confirming The Avengers 2 and Ironman 3 many have wondered about new characters that may be set to appear or if marvel will be bringing back past fan favorites to the new film. We all love Ironman but whats better then a dude in a Iron suit of armor with a built in weapons array? How about a two dudes with Iron suits of armor and one with a even bigger weapons array and a Big ass Gun attached to his shoulder! Welcome back “War Machine”!
Introduced as ‘War Machine’ In Ironman 2, James “Rhodey” Rhodes ( played by Don Cheadle) has been confirmed to have a role in the upcoming Ironman 3 film. Also with a Few upgrades to his suit. When asked about the future of War Machine Cheadle said this in a Interview with G4,
“Into The Avengers there’s been some mention, potentially and into a spin-off or… Let’s keep it going now. Let’s start it now and then pump it up and keep it going, and get it moving all through Comic-Con.
So with all that lets hope to see ‘War Machine’ have break out role in ‘The Avengers 2′ and then hopefully his own feature film. Marvel recently also revealed their upcoming plans for future films Including Ant-Man (No date given). I would love to see marvel also do a Black panther feature and have him make an appearance in The Avengers 2, but lets just see where the marvel universe is headed before we get our hopes up.
